Mesa Royalty Trust Announces No October 2026 Distribution
Investivoq FilingTracker
Mesa Royalty Trust (MTR) said it will not pay a distribution for October 2026 because costs, charges and expenses tied to its royalty properties exceeded revenue received from oil, natural gas and other hydrocarbons.
The trust said distributions are expected to remain materially reduced until cash reserves reach $2.0 million.
- The announcement was issued October 20, 2026.
- Mesa Royalty Trust owns overriding royalty interests in oil and gas properties in Kansas, New Mexico and Colorado.
- Distribution amounts may vary with production, commodity prices, administrative expenses and reimbursements from working interest owners.
- Accumulated excess production costs may reduce future distributions and may result in no distributions in some periods.
