Clearway Energy Reports 3Q 2026 Wind and Solar Performance

Clearway Energy (CWEN-A) said its third-quarter 2026 wind and solar resource performance was in line with the updated forecasts used in its revised 2026 financial guidance. The company said its Performance Index was consistent with quarterly CAFD expectations in its previously disclosed sensitivity range.

Third-quarter wind compensable generation totaled 2,424 GWh and solar compensable generation totaled 3,366 GWh. Clearway said wind results were supported by favorable resource conditions and liquidated damages from third-party OEMs, while Western U.S. solar resource was slightly below P-50.

• Total wind plant availability was 91% in 3Q 2026, while total solar plant availability was 97%.
• Flexible Generation plant availability was 94% during the quarter.
• Total wind net capacity was 3,569 MW and total solar net capacity was 3,249 MW.
• Wind Performance Index was 98%, and solar Performance Index was 93%.
• Year-to-date compensable generation was 8,680 GWh for wind and 9,248 GWh for solar.
